A QUICK RUNDOWN OF SOME OF THE RULES…
1. Cards are DEAD when they hit the muck pile FACE DOWN.
2. Next big blind moves when evening out tables. (Unless there is a volunteer to move). In the event a players refuses to move, their chips will be removed from the tournament.
3. Tournament Director ruling is final. Best interest of the game and fairness are top priorities in decision-making. Unusual circumstances occasionally dictate that common-sense decisions in the interest of fairness take priority over technical rules. Floor decisions are final.
4. Card must be shuffled at least 3 times.
5. Card must be cut prior to deal.
6. It is the players responsibility to make sure they protect their cards at all times.
7. When moving/siting down at a new table, the player must assume the position in the game (if player sits down in big blind they must post big blind).
8. We will accommodate special needs as much as possible.
9. Play will continue until a table is 3 handed! At 3 players, play will be halted.
10. Cards speak for themselves.
11. All-In’s cards must be turned up.
12. ONE dealer per hand, if it is not your deal do NOT touch the cards or chips.
13. Cards and Chips must be kept visible at all times.
14. NO RABBIT 🐇 HUNTING.
15. Misdeals Only occur if the first or second card off stub/deck are exposed, TWO or more Boxed cards are found or more than 2 cards exposed on the deal.
16. ONE CHIP IS A CALL! If facing a bet or blind, pushing out a single oversized chip (including your last chip) is a call if raise isn’t first declared. To raise with an overchip you must declare raise before the chip hits the table surface. If raise is declared but no amount is stated, the raise is the maximum allowable for the chip. If not facing a bet, pushing out an overchip silently (no declaration) is a bet of the maximum for the chip
17. Action Out of Turn (AOOT) Any action out of turn (check, call, or raise) will be backed up to the correct player in order. The OOT action is subject to penalty and is binding if action to the OOT player does not change. A check, call or fold by the correct player does not change action. If action changes, the OOT action is not binding; any bet or raise is returned to the OOT player who has all options: call, raise, or fold. An OOT fold is binding. See Illustration Addendum.
18. ONE player per hand.
19. It is the players responsibility to make sure they have two cards and only two cards at all times while they are in the hand.
20. Player away from table. If a player is away from the table and the dealer receives the last card, absent players hand will be killed (EVEN IF ITS THEIR BIG BLIND).
21. Zero Tolerance for fighting or threatening violence.
22. Players chips will be removed from play if they miss a “full” blind level.
23. ENGLISH ONLY WHILE IN HAND!
24. In all of our tournaments (nightly, monthly or TOC) you may call a head and have a chip stack placed on the table and blinded out for late arrival. (For example tournament starts at 7pm, you have till 830pm to arrive OR CALL BY 830pm to have a chip stack placed on table and blinded out.)
25. Our venues reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Elite also reserves the right to refuse service to anyone also! With that being said to be inside all of our venues, people MUST be a patron on the venue. Elite can NOT trump the venues rules.
26. Keep your hands OUT IF THE MUCK PILE! Players are not allowed to dig through the muck pile at anytime.
